Exeter House |
Exeter House is an innovative project with the purpose of furthering business, cultural, trade and academic links between the UK and Russia. This exciting project is the first British venture of its kind and offers unique opportunities to make contacts in Russia, one of the largest markets in the world. It is the product of close co-operation between the city councils of Exeter and Yaroslavl. Exeter House is situated in the heart of the 'old city', in a restored 19th century merchant's house which has been refurbished to the highest international standards. The services on offer include: Facilities for trade exhibitions seminar and resource rooms - Secretarial support and office services - E-mail and fax facilities - Interpreting and translating services - Comfortable accommodation The large seminar room can seat up to 40 delegates and other rooms are available for smaller meetings. The building is fully equipped for conferences and exhibitions and has its own catering facilities. An English speaking manager and staff are available to organise a range of services from translations to meetings with local companies and officials. In the 10 years since its opening, Exeter House has been steadily expanding its influence as a business orientated hotel and conference centre amongst visiting EC consultants and business advisors, and is used as an "Embassy" for many cultural and social events connected with Yaroslavl's twin city. |
